Before and during your Lash Extensions

  • A glue patch test will be needed at least 24 hours before appointment. It is essential that you let me know whether you have sensitive skin or allergies to products such as mascara.
  • Please remove contact lenses before and during your treatment
  • Avoid wearing mascara before your appointment, especially waterproof mascara.
  • Make sure you won't be interrupted during this treatment. Unfortunately, I need you lying on the couch with your eyes closed for the full duration of this treatment. If you can, please turn your mobile phone to 'Silent'.
  • For your own safety it is very important that you don't talk during this treatment. I will be using very sharp tweezers and need your head to be as still as possible.
  • As a rule, I don't do eyelash extensions on pregnant women or anyone with serious back problems.

After your eyelash exensions

  • WASH YOUR LASHES¬†DAILY.¬†It will amaze you what a difference this will make to your retention.
  • If you experience any itching or irritation contact me immediately
  • Do not wear mascara
  • Avoid using cotton wool pads on your lashes
  • Care should be taken during the first 24 hours after treatment, avoid getting your lashes wet. Do not use steam rooms and saunas for the first 48 hours
  • Do not pull your eyelash extensions off, contact me
  • Be careful when using your normal skincare products around the eyes as they may contain oil
  • Use the mascara wand I leave you to brush your lashes every day, this should remove any lashes you have shed naturally.

Before your nail treatment

  • I DO NOT remove gel polish applied at a Non Standard Salon. Please return to original salon for removal.
  • I will go through the use of the LED lamp at the beginning of your appointment but improper hand placement will mean your gel polish doesn't sure and will chip.

After your nail treatment

  • DO NOT PEEL OFF YOUR GEL POLISH, this is likely to rip layers of your natural nail and cause serious damage.
  • Please use Cuticle oil on your nails twice a day. I recommend OPI Avoplex which you can get from Boots.
  • To make your nail polish last as long as possible, please wear gloves when doing household cleaning/ gardening
  • Always moisturise your hands after washing
  • I would recommend a manicure every two weeks and pedicure every four weeks.
